Ø       Change Engine Oil and Filter (5 qts)
Ø       Reset Oil Life Monitor
Ø       Rotate Tires, check inflation pressure and wear (every 5000 -7500 miles)

For 2004 and newer vehicles equipped with OnStar, you can use a new feature called Dealer Maintenance Notification. Once enrolled, OnStar will e-mail Walker when you have a problem with your vehicle. It prepares us to take care of the issue or maintenance need.

Ø      Please push your “Blue button” and tell the OnStar advisor to “Activate Dealer Maintenance Notification.” You will need to provide your e-mail address
Ø      Another option is to “Enroll” from your monthly OnStar Vehicle Diagnostic report.

DO YOU NEED TIRES?
Do you check your tire pressure?
Do you know to evaluate your tire condition often?

Ask about the Tire Performance Criteria (TPC) that is specific to your vehicle.

We sell most major tire brands as well as those brands specifically engineered for your vehicle.

Tire Safety Tips:

      Check your tire pressure regularly
Tires tend to lose air over time. Keep a gauge handy to check once a month and before a long trip.
      Address under-inflated tires immediately
An under-inflated tire has more rolling resistance which increases fuel consumption.
      Don’t forget about the spare
Inspect the spare as you would your other tires.
      Check for tread depth
Check tread depth by placing the edge of a penny upside down into the grooves of the tire’s tread. If you can see Lincoln’s head, it’s time for new tires.
      Check for even wear
Check both the inside and outside edge of the tires.
      Look for tire damage
Inspect the sides of the tires for nicks, bulges, cracks and cuts.
      Stay balanced
If you feel a shimmy, have your tires balanced to prevent unnecessary wear.
      Buy the right tire for the job
Consider all-season, snow, or summer tires as well as tread life and speed rating.
